11 September 2021 – National Two North : Stourbridge 19-17 Hull
Stourbridge snatched a last gap victory with a dramatic converted try from the final move of the match to beat Hull at Stourton Park. An error ridden first half was scoreless until the 38th minute when Latu Makaafi went over following a lineout with Simon Humberstone adding the conversion for a half time 7-0 advantage. Stourbridge started the second half in much more determined fashion and scored a converted try in the 46th minute to level the scores. Hull edged back in front in the 55th minute with a Humberstone penalty before the hosts scored an unconverted try six minutes later to retake the lead. With time running out Hull looked to have won the game when Mike Jobling was propelled over from a catch and drive move which Humberstone converted but a dramatic finale resulted in the Stourbridge hooker plunging over the line for a converted try to win the game for the hosts.

10 September 2016 – National Three North : Hull 30-17 Billingham
Hull’s pack provided the foundation for a hard fought 30-17 victory against Billingham at the Ferens Ground. Tomasi Tanumi landed two early penalties in the second and ninth minutes to give Hull an early lead but Billingham responded with an unconverted try from future England player Adam Radwan. Hull pressure resulted in the referee awarding a penalty try, and a yellow card, with Tanumi adding the conversion. But on the half hour the visitors scored their second try which was converted and half time saw Hull leading 13-12. The second half started well for Hull when centre Alex Heard thundered over for a try converted by Tanumi from wide out. George Fossey was unlucky not to score a further try moments later when he was brought down illegally which resulted in a second yellow card for Billingham with Tanumi kicking the resultant penalty. He added another penalty four minutes later to put Hull well ahead at 23-12 but again the visitors rallied and scored an unconverted try on 63 minutes to reduce the gap to six points. Hull reasserted their forward dominance and were awarded another penalty try following a Billingham infringement which Tanumi converted for 30-17 and secured Hull’s second win of the season.

10 September 2011 – National Two North : Hull 29-33 Sheffield Tigers
Sheffield Tigers capitalised on Hull’s errors to inflict another narrow defeat on the home side to leave them still looking for their first league win of the season. Both sides missed early penalties before the Tigers scored two quick tries, one converted, to lead 12-0. Hull’s response was immediate when No.8 Ollie Cook drove forward before the ball eventually found James Kirk who sped in to score with James Cameron adding a fine conversion. However the visitors took advantage of another Hull infringement to score a converted try and they went in at half time with a comfortable 19-7 lead. A fourth try for Sheffield Tigers, again converted, at the start of the second half pushed their advantage further ahead at 26-7 before Hull rallied. James Cameron kicked a penalty followed by Tom Moody going over although Cameron’s conversion attempt hit the post and bounced out. The Hull recovery continued when Kirk went in for his second try and Cameron’s conversion reduced the margin to 26-22. Another penalty against Hull and the subsequent yellow card for Ollie Cook gave the Tigers the impetus to mount an attack which resulted in a converted try to lead 33-22. Hull had the final say as Phil Murphy barged his way over for Greg Lound to convert leaving the hosts tantalisingly short of their first league victory.
