18 September 2021 – National Two North : Hull 29-0 Sheffield Tigers
Winger Mike Adlard scored twice as Hull beat Sheffield Tigers 29-0 to register their second home win of the season. The home side got off to a perfect start with Adlard scoring in the corner in the first minute. Mark Ireland missed a 7th minute penalty for the visitors and that was as close as they came to troubling the scorers. Hull’s pack was dominant and Loma Kivalu’s try midway through the first half emphasised their superiority. Simon Humberstone added the conversion for a 12-0 lead. On the stroke of half time Humberstone’s grubber kick landed perfectly for Adlard to score his second unconverted try of the afternoon. Trailing 17-0 at half time the visitors needed to score first in the second half but a resolute Hull defence stood firm and on the hour mark Hull picked up the bonus point when Keane Naylor scored in the right hand corner. Six minutes from time Latu Makaafi scored Hull’s fifth try when he powered over and Humberstone added the conversion to finish the scoring.

17 September 2016 – National Three North : Ilkley 31-8 Hull
Hull suffered a 31-8 league defeat away at Ilkley as they slipped to their first defeat of the season. Ilkley started well and went ahead with a penalty after five minutes. They extended their lead with a converted try after eighteen minutes before Hull got on the scoreboard with a Tomasi Tanumi penalty. Hull thought they’d scored again with a George Fossey try but he was adjudged to have put a foot into touch and a minute before the break the hosts added a converted try for a 17-3 half time advantage. Hull started well in the second half but Ilkley took advantage of a yellow card for Joe Stafford with a converted try. The returning Stafford scored an unconverted try for Hull on 62 minutes but the hosts had the last word with a fine converted try from their pacy full back who raced through a tiring Hull defence to score and see his side home 31-8.

17 September 2011 – National Two North : Huddesrfield 9-7 Hull
Hull scored the only try of the game but still lost narrowly 9-7 to Huddersfield – their fourth narrow defeat of the season. It quickly became clear that neither side was going to be able to play an open game in the heavy rain and passing errors with a wet ball were frequent throughout the match. Huddersfield scored first with a penalty after nine minutes but Hull’s forwards were driving well and they got their reward when Dan Cook went over with James Cameron adding the conversion for a 7-3 lead after thirteen minutes. The home side reduced the gap with their second penalty after 64 minutes and nudged ahead through a third successful strike for 9-7 which remained the final score despite both sides crashing against the defensive lines at both ends.
