Hull overcame a 16 point deficit to beat Wharfedale and set up a Yorkshire Cup semi-final clash at Harrogate on April 22.
Playing into the wind in the first half at Bishop Burton, Hull were guilty of over playing and turned around 24-8 behind their opponents.
Lee Birch scored all eight points thanks to an unconverted try and a penalty.
Coach Gary Pearce made changes at the break with Tyler Price coming on to play a pivotal role in the victory.
His kicking game gave Hull a platform to launch several attacks on the Wharfedale line. Birch scored three more tries while skipper Tom Rice and Ali Heard also going over the whitewash.
Bishop Burton College student Price said before the game he hoped his knowledge of the pitch would help Hull to victory and it did. He added three penalties to Hull’s tally as they rightly booked their place in the last four.
The Yorkshire Cup can be put to the back of the players minds as they face a quick turnaround before facing Doncaster Phoenix at Chanterlands Avenue on Saturday.
