Timoci: A Win Is Just Around The Corner

Timoci Waqadua might be new to the team, but in the two games he has played, but he can see how much talent there is in the squad. The winger made his debut in the 35-17 loss to Birmingham Moseley and scored his first try for the club in the heart-wrenching 27-26 defeat to Esher last weekend. Waqadua believes that if the team can stick to the game plans given to them by director of rugby Mike Umaga, a win will be secured before the end of the season.

“Esher was a very tough game, but unfortunately we just came up short at the end,” Waqadua said.
“All in all, the boys put in plenty of graft in a good game, but a tough game.
“A win is definitely around the corner.
“We just need to go through our structures and stick to our game plans instead of getting sucked into their game plans.
“I’m settling in pretty well.
“I was at the club last year for pre-season, and it’s good to be back with the boys this season.
“I’ve enjoyed the two games I’ve played so far.”
