Hull Without Key Players For Trip To Blaydon

Hull travel North to Blaydon on Saturday to take on a side with just one victory to their name this season. Despite some very close score lines including a two point reverse against Loughborough.
Blaydon have found victories very hard to come by. However they average 15 points a game so they have some attacking potential.  Hull will be without influential prop Ben Bootham, pacy winger Mike Adlard, hooker Ali Thompson, and possibly second row forward Cameron Curry who has been so pivotal this season with  good lineout work and driving the ball forward in the open field.
Coach Gary Pearce will be looking to bring in players who will relish this chance to shine but selection will be left late  It seems certain that prop Charlie Beech will feature after his recovery from a knock sustained two weeks ago at Sedgley but late fitness tests will be needed to see the complete make upmost the side.
Hull undoubtedly have enough fire power to record another victory and will be looking for a maximum points tally to keep up the pressure on the three teams above them in the league. Nothing can be taken for granted but if Hull maintain full focus they should achieve the result they need.
