With four games to play Hull have been crowned Northern Premier league champions.

And their promotion was confirmed with the players and coaches enjoying a free weekend.

Hull were 23 points clear of Billingham who were the only team who were able to catch the runaway leaders with five matches to play.

On Saturday, Billingham played their game in hand at Kirkby Lonsdale, who won the game 17-5 to confirm Hull’s promotion back to National Two North.

After losing their season opener by a point at Rossendale, Hull have dominated the league winning their next 21 matches outscoring their opponents by an average 40.0 to 8.3 points per game.

With home games against Sandal on March 30 and Rossendale on April 13, there is still time for you to come and watch the champions in action at Chants Avenue.

Why not make a day of it and join us for our pre-match meal beforehand for only £20.
