Dom Hardman said it was important for Hull to put their defeat to Lymm behind them with victory at Morley.
A 47-0 win was just reward for their defensive effort even when they were reduced to 14 men when Wes Langkilde spent 10 minutes in the sin bin.
It was the second time Hull had kept a side to nil, having done so at Pocklington in their first away fixture of the season.
Hardman believes the win helped restore confidence that took a knock following the Lymm loss.
“It was an amazing day for us to bounce back after last week,” Hardman said.
“This week everything clicked we played to our structure and played with confidence.
“To not concede any points was the icing on the cake.
“We spent long periods of time on goal line defence in each half.
“It showed the character of the team to withstand the yellow card shown to Wes.”
