Dean starts Hull career in style

Reece Dean marked his debut for Hull with a solid display scoring one of the seven tries and kicking six of seven goals in a 47-0 win over Morley.
The former Hull FC playmaker started the season at Toronto Wolfpack before making the switch to Doncaster midway through the year.
The urge to play union proved too hard to resist and he’s now signed up spearhead Hull RUFC’s push for promotion.
Dean is the third former FC player on the squad with Callum Lancaster and Mike Adlard already settled in to life at Chants Ave.
“I have always been in to rugby union but have never actually played it,” Dean said.
“My grandad played it in his youth and I fancied a go at it.
“My good mate Callum who I have grown up with put me in touch Gary and it went from there.”
As for his debut, Dean couldn’t have asked for a better introduction to his new club.
“Saturday was my first start.
“I thought the pack played really well and gave us backs a good platform to play off.
“We executed really well taking into account the wet and windy weather.
“Our goalline defence was excellent all game.
“We conceded about five or six penalties on a trot on our own line and we managed to keep them out.
“It was a great effort from everyone.”
