Harrogate – a form guide

Harrogate are still not mathematically safe despite beating Preston Grasshoppers 45-32 last weekend. They remain 13th in National Two North just four points clear of Sheffield Tigers who occupy the last relegation spot.
One more win should be enough for Harrogate to avoid relegation especially as they host Otley next weekend and then travel to Hinckley the following week.
Last weekend’s win at Preston was their first win in six games. In four of their five defeats, Harrogate scored 10 points. If Hull can keep them to 10 points on Saturday, then they will certainly fancy their chances of reaching the final.
The last time Harrogate won at home was on January 28 when they defeated Stourbridge 19-12. Since then they have lost their last three at Rudding Lane.
Hull’s form has been excellent with just two defeats in their last 15 fixtures. They came against the top two in National Three North – Huddersfield and Rossendale. To reach the semi-finals, Hull have beaten Wharfedale who are 10 points clear of Harrogate, who received a walk-over against Pocklington.
In the other semi-final, Sheffield Tigers take on Otley for a place in the final.
