Hull travel to York this weekend to take on a York side who are currently sitting in mid table after a convincing victory at Sandal last week .
Hull have turned themselves around after two early season defeats and three wins in a row has seen them move up the table and they now sit in the top half of this league . Complacency is not something Hull will need to contemplate as York have just got their season up and running and will look to build on that impressive performance at Sandal.
Hull make few changes from the side that got the better of their game against Driffield with Charlie Beech starting at prop and Mike Jobling dropping to the bench. The rest of the starting side remains as last week but with changes on the bench. Yorkshire county player Harvey Harding is unavailable as is full back James Farrar who is away with Ireland on international duty.
That gives the selectors the chance to recall powerful back row cum centre David Halaifonua and give a bench place to pacy winger and new comer Sam Rokonalewa.
Hull will find York’s pack are a good set piece side and they will need to be aware of the threat they pose. Hull have scored freely in their last three games and have shown themselves adept at counter attacking. They will need those skills to get the better of a side who have bounced back from early season losses .
Reducing their penalty count and securing all their scrum and lineout possession could be crucial as Hull look to keep their winning streak on track.
