Hull RUFC v Lymm: Match Preview

Hull’s restart to their season last week did not go according to plan. Their last game before the break was a convincing victory against a useful Billingham side but the fornight interlude did Hull no favours. This weeks opponents Lymm, have had a mixed start to their campaign having had notable victories against Sheffield and Fylde whilst losing to both Otley and Huddersfield.

Hull have made a few changes to the side that played at Wharfedale last week with Joe Barratt starting at scrum half and Bureta Faraimo moving in off the wing to centre. Duell Trueman comes in on the wing with Jamie Shaul returning at full back. The pack sees Paulos Latu start at second row with Liam Regardsoe as his partner.

The bench has a solid look with Charlie Beech and David Halaifonua looking to make a big impact later in the game. Second rower Kym Russell, scrum half David Davison and back row forward Alec Renouf make up the full compliment.

Hull can do well this week if they recapture the form they displayed just three weeks ago but every side in this league can play on their day. A real contest is in prospect as both sides need to win to consolidate their league position
