Hull RUFC’s first home game of the new season will see them renew their rivalry with neighbours Hull Ionians. The derby will take place at Chants Ave on Saturday, 9 September. That follows Hull’s opener at Otley on September 2.
September is a busy month for director of rugby Mike Umaga and his players who have five matches in the month of September. The return fixture with Hull Ionians at Brantingham is the final game of 2023. The first game of 2024 is a home game with Huddersfield.
While three of the first five fixtures are away from home, two of the final three matches are at home. A trip to Sheffield is sandwiched between home games with Fylde and Otley, which is the final match of the season.
