Hull went down to a slightly sharper Bishop Stortford side but despite being reduced to 12 men at one stage, partly due to some eccentric refereeing Hull came back to score three second half tries.
The visitors were quickly off the mark with a first minute try by scrum-half Bolton converted by off-half Riddington. Hull then had a spell of good pressure but as soon as Bishop got the ball they went upfield to score a good try through fullback Parkhouse.
Hull suffered a sending off for retaliation as Ben Bootham was red carded after reacting to being elbowed. Then in quick succession Reece Dean and Harvey Harding were yellow carded for the home side. Despite this Stortford scored just one more try through Bolton in the first half.
Morris scored a hat-trick in the first 10 minutes of the second half to put the game beyond Hull. On the hour mark, substitute winger Jack Edwards raced in for a try. Then Reece Dean;s pin-point cross kick found back row man Alex Todd who plunged over for a good try.
Stortford then got Lloyd over for a try converted by Cole. Hull then scored a very good late try through winger Mike Adlard after a great kick to him by Dean who converted it to see Hull end the game losing 44-17.
