Coach Martin Webdale believes his players will relish the challenge presented by Harrogate.
The coaching staff will be looking for a response after dropping their first points of the season following a 10-10 draw with Preston a week ago.
Training has been intense and Webdale is looking forward to seeing how they take on Harrogate at the newly named Stratstone Stadium, formerly Rudding Lane.
“Harrogate will provide another very tough test but the squad are relishing the opportunity,” Webdale said.
“Harrogate are a well coached and well led team and we are looking forward to meeting the challenges they will bring.
“The squad trained very well on tuesday evening with over 30 players at training making great competition for places.
“The session was very physical.”
Webdale was pleased with the way his side defended last week against Preston and is expecting a similar game at Harrogate.
“Last week was a game of two halves,” Webdale said.
“We controlled field position and the ball well in the first half, while in the second half Preston dominated territory and we struggled to exit effectively.
“Our resilience in defence was outstanding considering the number of tackles we had to make.
“The guys mentality to keep getting back to their feet and going forward in defence was outstanding.”
