Prop Mike Jobling believes the key to beating Sandal will be getting back to doing the things right they have done all season.
Against Rossendale last weekend, Hull fell below the high standards they have set in their 21-13 defeat that effectively ended their promotion hopes.
Jobling wants to see his side respond positively and end the season on a winning note.
“I feel it would be good to get back to what we are good at and that’s playing an exciting brand of rugby,” Jobling said.
“We need to show how well we can bounce back.
“Not all is lost in terms of the season.
“Who knows what results will bring.
“We still have a shot at some silverware in the Yorkshire Cup.
“Looking at Sandal, we went there earlier in the season carrying injuries and new faces had emerged.
“This will be a good test to see how far we have come and developed as a squad.”
