Rice: Morley won’t make life easy

Captain Tom Rice insists he and the rest of the Hull team will not be taking Morley for granted when they travel to Leeds on Saturday.
Hull are 43 points clear of Morley who are seven places behind Rice’s side in National Three North ahead of this re-arranged fixture.
The two sides were due to meet last month but the game fell by the wayside due to bad weather.
Hull, who are 13 points behind second placed Rossendale, need to pick up the maximum five points to keep their play-off hopes alive and Rice is determined to make the most of their game in hand.
“In the previous fixture at Ferens, we gained a much needed five point win over the Maroons,” Rice said.
“Although they are currently tenth in the league we are not taking this Morley side lightly.
“I think that Cleckheaton showed us in the previous game that the teams at the bottom of the table are not going to roll over.
“We will have to work hard if we are to become victorious especially away from home.
“Morley is not an easy place to go and win I know this from previous experience but I believe that with the capabilities of this team we are more than capable of getting five points from the fixture.
“The maximum five points is what we need in order to keep the pressure on second place Rossendale.
