Hull travel to Wharfedale this weekend to take on a side that sit comfortably in sixth place in the league. Hull are in need of points as they sit at the wrong end of the league but a repeat of their first half performance against high flying Tynedale a fortnight ago would go a long way to securing the result they need .
Hull will be without prop Charlie Beech and second row man Liam Regardsoe but welcome back backrow forwards Noah Marshall and Paulos Latu. The front row has a familiar look with Loma Kivalu, Jack Bergmans and Mike Jobling starting the game with Oliver Fretwell offering considerable back up from the bench.
Alec Renouf and David Halaifonua pair up as the second row with Josh Ratuvou completing the packs line up at open side wing forward.
The backs see Joey Barratt start at scrum half with Reece Dean at off half. The back division that looked so effective last time out remains much the same with Harry Dawkins and Tom Lineham on the wings with Ali Heard and Jack Render in the centre’s and the impressive newcomer James Farrar starting his third game at full back.
Amongst the replacements Harry Pinder offers good cover for both half back positions with Dec Cusack, Latu Maka’afi and Brandon Norman filling the remaining positions on the bench.
Hull have enough attacking options to score points but they will need to find a way of keeping up that momentum for eighty minutes . If they can do that they are capable of coming away with the points .
