Hull RUFC vs Sheffield RUFC: Match Preview

Table topping Sheffield are  this weeks opponents for Hull who arrive with the perfect playing record of 16 played and 16 won. This is undoubtedly a daunting task for Hull who are slowly seeing the return of players who have been suffering with long term injuries. the team this week sees Harvey Harding return to add aggression and pace to the back row where he joins Josh Ratuvou and the powerful Paulos Latu.

Alec Renouf moves to the second row partnering Liam Regardsoe with the familiar trio of Mike Jobling, Loma Kivalu and Oliver Fretwell making up the front row.

A change in the back division sees prolific goal kicker Reece dean move to full back with the versatile half back Joe Adams filling the number ten berth. Harry Pinder goes to scrum half after an impressive display off the bench at Macclesfield. Jamie Shaul and Jack Render assume thier positions on the wings with captain Ali Heard and Tom Minns completing the lineup in the centres .

The bench sees the return of another long term injury victim Joey Barratt as backs cover along with the highly experienced Tom Lineham and Harry Dawkins with forwards cover being Jack Bergmanas and Charlie Beech.

Hull have played some good looking rugby this season but they need to keep up intensity and cut out errors as at this level mistakes are usually punished . Sheffield may be slightly complacent after such a good season so Hull need to open up  quickly and maintain accuracy of execution in attack and defence  and if they can do that if they may could well  get something out of this game.
