30 January 2016 – National Three North : Cleckheaton 16-5 Hull
Hull went down to defeat in the snow and rain at Cleckheaton with a disappointing performance in which they lost six of their own lineouts and frequently conceded possession. Much of the first half was played in Hull’s half but Cleckheaton only had a sole penalty on the scoreboard at half time. The second period began with a knock on by Hull and from the resulting scrum the home side scored an unconverted try. A second unconverted try soon followed for Cleckheaton before a penalty on 61 minutes effectively sealed the home win. A late Hull rally resulted in a fine try for Lee Birch but it was small consolation for the visitors.

29 January 2011 – National Division Two North : Hull 28-24 Caldy
Hull won a scintillating contest at the Ferens Ground despite a strong second half comeback from visitors Caldy. Winger Will Robinson opened the scoring after ten minutes when he used his pace to side step his way to the line. James Cameron converted and then got himself on the scoresheet when Ben Dorrington’s charge down ended with Cameron winning the race to touch down before converting his own try. With ten minutes of the half remaining Cameron scored again when he chipped into space to regather and score under the posts for a try which he again converted for a 21-0 interval lead. Within six minutes of the restart Caldy started their fight back with a converted try. Two minutes later the visitors scored a penalty and their momentum carried on with a converted try which put them only four points adrift at 21-17 with twenty minutes left. However it was Hull who scored next when James Cameron picked out James Greene running in to go over for a try which Cameron converted. Caldy replied with a converted try but Hull held on to beat the visitors for the first time in National League rugby.

Two minutes later White kicked down the middle and Matt Donkin won the race to touch down. Waylon Tangohau added the conversion but the visitors replied with two penalties and a drop goal before Tangohau added a penalty for Hull in the sixth minute of first half added time for a 15-9 interval lead. Hull’s John Wilson scored a disputed unconverted try on 58 minutes with Middlesbrough claiming their defender touched the ball down first.
