Hull RUFC vs Otley RUFC: Match Preview

Hull take on eighth placed Otley this weekend and will be trying to emulate their last performance two weeks ago when they played some excellent rugby on their way to a narrow defeat against second placed Darlington.

Otley have had four victories this season all of which have been against sides in the lower half of the division.

Hull make few changes to their side but centre Jack Render returns to partner Tom Minns who played so well at Darlington. Winger Jake Boardman starts on the wing having shown some real pace when coming on later in the game at Darlington. The try scoring Tim Lineham keeping his place on the other wing.

The pack sees Mike Jobling drop to the bench with Loma Kivalu starting in the front row along with Oliver Fretwell and Charlie Beech.

The back five in the pack sees last time out stand out performer  Evi Uriburu- Gray pack down with Danny Ward, David Halafoinua, Alec Renouf and Noah Marshall making up the back row. The bench offers cover in all areas with Jack Bergmanas joining Mike Jobling as front row cover with Josh Ratavou, Harry Pinder and Harry Gunn-Mclean covering back row and back options.

Hull should be full of confidence going into this game and have the chance of getting a much need victory.

They will need to keep their discipline and reduce the penalty count against them but a repeat of their last performance could see them in amongst much need points.
