21 February 2015 – National Two North : Hull 30-18 Otley
A second consecutive home win kept Hull out of the drop zone, albeit on points difference, as they beat Otley to give their National Two North survival hopes a boost. Otley drew first blood with an unconverted try after just four minutes but Hull responded well with Jamie Foster’s first try for the club on eleven minutes. Otley’s reply was a penalty after nineteen minutes but two minutes later prop Paul Sewell forced his way over for a try with Foster converting. Hull were well on top and Stephen Hihetah touched down for 17-13 at the break.
The second half started well for the hosts when Otley were penalised allowing Foster to kick a penalty after fifty minutes. Otley then mounted a sustained period of pressure resulting in an unconverted try on sixty four minutes before Hull produced their best catch and drive of the day with Phil Eggleshaw getting the touchdown and Foster converting magnificently from the touchline. With the game effectively over Hull finished the scoring with a late penalty from Foster to secure the points.

20 February 2010 – National Division Two North : Hull 24-19 Preston Grasshoppers
Preston travelled to Hull without a league win in 2010 having not tasted victory since mid December and the hosts piled on the misery as a workmanlike performance gave them a 24-19 home win over the Grasshoppers. Preston opened the scoring on twenty minutes with an unconverted try from a short line out but ten minutes later Hull were in front following a Neil Spence try converted by Guy Martinson for a 7-5 half time lead.
Hull kept the momentum going in the second half and Alex Campbell was the beneficiary of some slick passing from Darren Wigg before the ball was switched for Danny Smith to score with Martinson adding the extras. Neil Spence scored his second try on sixty minutes before Preston replied with a converted try to reduce the deficit. Tevita Vaikona brought an instant response and a bonus point when he steamed over for an unconverted try and although Preston scored in added time from a close range scrum Hull held on to clinch a deserved victory.
