Help Billy & Jack Raise Funds For MIND

The club has no game next weekend and it’s a chance for the players to enjoy a hard-earned Saturday off. However, Billy Addy and Jack Baldry have other ideas. The pair, along with another of Billy’s friend, are taking on the Three Peaks Challenge, where the trio are aiming to climb Ben Nevis (1,345m), Scafell Pike (978m) and Snowdon (1,085m) within 24 hours.

“Hiking, mountaineering with some of the boys.
“It’s the National 3 Peaks Challenge with Jack Baldry and one of my close friends from home.
“We’ll start with Ben Nevis in Scotland, drive straight to Scafell Pike and then straight to Snowdon in Wales – all in 24 hours!
“I’m doing it to raise money for MIND, the charitable organisation for mental health.
“As a family, we’ve lost a couple of good friends and close family members to mental health, including my mum’s best friend.

“I’ve done some fundraising earlier in the year, doing my first ever 10K run.
“I’ve caught the bug now and I thought I’d raise a couple of hundred quid by doing this.
“It’s something I’ve always wanted to do and my mum’s really proud of me for doing it.
“I’ve got a ‘Just Giving’ page and if you donate, click on the ‘gift aid’ button, that adds a few extra quid from the government and is of no cost to you whatsoever.”
