Hull were disrupted by more injury problems in this home defeat although we did secure a losing bonus point. An early Westoe penalty was followed by two close range tries for the visitors and it was not until the 35th minute that Hull got on the scoreboard when James Cameron successfully battled the strong winds to put a penalty kick over the posts for 15-3.

Hull captain Chris Murphy was then forced off with a knee injury although his replacement Laurence Pearce made an immediate impact by scoring a try within a minute.
