Tatyana Heard knows all about playing at Twickenham, having done so many times for England. On Saturday, she will return to the headquarters of English rugby, but instead of putting on her boots, she will watching her brother Ali play in what is one of the biggest games in his career. Ali is part of the Yorkshire Men’s team that will face Kent tomorrow in the final of the Bill Beaumont County Championship, last won by Yorkshire in 2008. Tatyana had this advise for her brother:
“Just wanted to say a massive congratulations on getting to Twickenham,” she said.
“I know it’s going to be a really cool occasion for you.
“It’s a really massive stadium to play at.
“It’s a wide pitch so make sure you enjoy that.
“I’m really excited to watch you out there and can’t wait to see the game.
“Get a bit more width as it is a really wide pitch and you’ll be able to run rings around them.
“Good luck!”
