Important Dates For Your Diary

The season may be drawing to a close, with just three matches left to play, but we intend finishing the game in style.

There are three important social events coming up within the next two months, that you might want to be a part of.

Firstly, we have our annual Ex Players’ Day coming up on Saturday, April 6 when we take on Fylde at Chants Ave. All former players are welcome to join us for what is always a well attended event.

Contact Chas MacKay to book your pre-match meal for £20 before watching the penultimate home game of our season.

Our season ends on Saturday, April 27 when we welcome Otley to Chants Ave. To commemorate the end of season, this will be our Ladies Day. It will be £20 per head, which includes entrance and lunch.

What better way to end the season that’s a good old-fashioned knees-up! Contact Mike Jobling or Richard Gore to book your place.

Then, on Friday, May 17, the social event of the year is back. Our Sportsman’s Dinner returns and we have a very special guest joining us.

What’s it like to referee a World Cup final between two of the biggest powerhouses in world rugby? Well, our special guest Wayne Barnes can tell us all about it.

The recently retired referee has achieved everything there is to achieve in the game, and he will share his tales of being the man in the middle of some of the biggest games ever played in the last 10 years.

The black-tie event will be hosted at the MKM Stadium on Friday, May 17 with a 7:30 start. Billie Wheedon will once again be the M.C. while comedian Lea Roberts will have us in tears of laughter.

Tickets cost £60 each while tables of 10 can be booked for £600. To avoid disappointment, book now by calling Chris Murphy on 01482 899114.
