2 March 2019 – Northern Premier Division : Hull 28-11 Ilkley
Hull maintained their position as league leaders with a four try bonus point win against Ilkley. The visitors started the game well and within 14 minutes led 6-0 from two penalties before Ben Boothman drove over the line from a lineout and Simon Humberstone’s conversion put Hull 7-6 ahead. After 33 minutes Hull were awarded a penalty try to lead 14-6 and as the first half drew to a close Mike Adlard broke free and fed full back Lee Birch to score a spectacular try under the posts. Humberstone’s conversion stretched Hull’s lead to 21-6 at the break.
Hull lost Tom O’Donnell to a yellow card early in the second half but a great defensive display kept the visitors at bay. With 10 minutes remaining Ilkley winger Blake Morgan scored to reduce the deficit to 10 points but Hull’s response was immediate. Winger Stephen Hihetah burst through a split defence to score under the posts and Humberstone’s conversion sealed the win to ensure Hull maintained a considerable points advantage at the top of the league.

1 March 2014 – National Two North : Hull 39-16 Sheffield Tigers
The crunch game against fellow relegation candidates Sheffield Tigers at the Ferens Ground saw Hull totally outplay the South Yorkshire side scoring six tries to two in a 39-16 win. The game started well for the visitors as Outram slotted over two penalties in the first five minutes for a 6-0 lead before Hull worked their way back into the game with a fine 50 yard try from winger Dominic Lespierre. This was followed by another tremendous try from winger James Kirk which Greg Lound converted. Sheffield Tigers raised their game and following a ten phase move centre Buchanan scored to take his side to within one point of their hosts.
Hull responded immediately with Kirk racing in from 30 yards for a try and following a yellow card for the visitors took advantage to score another try from Ben Sullivan for a 22-11 half time lead. The second half started superbly for Hull as Sullivan scored under the posts, converted by Lound. Three minutes later a Lound penalty stretched Hull’s lead and the hosts made sure of maximum points after 53 minutes when Lespierre ran 50 yards to score under the posts. Lound converted for a 39-11 lead and although the visitors scored a late try Hull took a huge step towards securing their National Two North league status with a maximum five point haul.

28 February 2009 – North One : Hull 52-0 Darlington
It was third time lucky for Hull when Darlington finally made it to the Ferens Ground following the postponement of the original fixture on the 10th January when the Darlington coach broke down followed by the postponement of the rescheduled fixture on the 7th February due to a waterlogged pitch. But it was worth waiting for as Hull had too much power and pace for bottom club Darlington as Makoni Finau bagged a couple of tries in a man of the match performance. Adie Wadforth opened the scoring for Hull after five minutes with James Cameron adding the conversion and three minutes later full back Jordan Precious went over for another try converted by Cameron.
As Hull continued to dominate Darren Wigg was next on the scoresheet with Cameron making it three conversions from three. When Makoni Finau steamed over just before the break Cameron converted again to ensure Hull lead 28-0 at half time. The second half started with Finau’s second try on 52 minutes, Cameron adding the extra’s for his fifth conversion of the afternoon. Just before the hour a 75 yard move involving Chris Kendra, Wigg and Precious ended with Wadforth’s second try. Cameron converted and then added a penalty before making way for Carl Puckering to make his first team debut. Hull wrapped things up on 73 minutes when the forwards set up a try for Latu Makaafi which Puckering converted as Hull ran out convincing winners.
