Hornsea Pupils Need Your Help Ahead Of A Chance Of A Lifetime

Winger Keane Naylor is a teacher at Hornsea School and Language College. He entered a team of Under 14s to the Rosslyn Park 7s rugby tournament, and to his surprise, they were accepted.

The tournament takes place in London in March and it will be an opportunity of a lifetime for the players and the school. Hornsea will be competing against expensive private schools, so for a coastal comprehensive school to be able to take part, is itself a great story.

“There are a lot of kids who might struggle to afford to go to the tournament,” Keane said.
“So any amount of sponsorship or help ahead of this opportunity would be greatly appreciated.
“If anyone can help with a donation to make this a memorable occasion for the students, no matter how small, we thank you.”

This Saturday, members of the team will be attending our home game with Leeds, where a bucket collection will be done to raise funds for the trip of a lifetime.
