Harding Returns For Huddersfield Home Game

Hull take on the bottom of the table side Huddersfield this week hoping to get back to winning ways after last week’s defeat at Fylde.

Any thoughts that this will be an easy game have been categorically dispelled by Huddersfield’s last two results. A very close defeat at the hands of Lymm was followed by a comprehensive victory over Billingham so they will be all-out to see if they can build on  those results with another win to start a recovery and move up the table.

It will take some doing as they are well adrift at the moment but they will be targeting each game as one step nearer to safety if they can get points out of it.

Hull will be without vice-captain and number eight Will Hall, second row Kym Russell and second-rower Billy Addy, who are all injured but there are  players returning to the squad.

Forwards Paulos Latu, Latu Maka’afi are available and in the backs Jamie Shaul is fit again as is scrum half Harvey Harding whilst centre/winger Bureta Faraimo is back.

These returning players will give the coaches the sort of headache they like as it gives more strength in depth and more options for the starting line up and impact players from the bench.

If Hull play with the same commitment as last week but take the scoring opportunities they create, which will be the key to the outcome of the game, they have every chance of coming away with the spoils.
