Hull take on Sheffield RUFC this week and will be looking to return to winning ways after the home defeat to Tynedale last time out. Sheffield have won six of their eleven games but their losses have been relatively close affairs including a five point margin last time out losing to league leaders Leeds.
Hull have much the same side as for last week’s postponed game against Fylde. Jamie Shaul moves from full back to wing with Duell Trueman reverting to full back. Joe Barratt comes in at scrum half having recovered from injury.
The pack is the same as last week and newcomer James Naylor starts at scrum half.
Hull will need to ensure their own first phase ball to give themselves a platform if they are to defeat a very useful Sheffield side.
Hull have played some good rugby this year but have not been at their best in recent games against Wharfedale and Tynedale.
Retaining their own scrum and lineout ball should go a long way to help recapture the sort of form they showed against Lymm and Billingham .
Last time out Hull scored the best try of the day against Wharfedale and that was an illustration of what they can do with the flair they have in the side.
Saturday will be a real test for Hull but at their best they can make their mark.
