150 Up For Liam As We Travel To Rotherham

Hull travel the short distance to Rotherham this week to take on one of the two sides with an unbeaten record in National 2 North.

Rotherham have won all their games so far season having defeated Lymm, Hull’s opponents last week, 33-10 and a two-point victory over Otley, who Hull beat earlier this season.

Of course it is a tough fixture but Rotherham are clearly a good side but they concede quite a few points so Hull should travel knowing their best game will cause the home side some problems.

Last weekend, second row Paulos Latu, prop Tom Bairstow and full back Jamie Shaul all scored their first tries for the club which will give them that little bit more confidence in the coming weeks.

Joji Logavatu, who can play back row or second row, is now back in contention and winger/centre Peter Hudson-Kowalewicz is back after a week off playing for Poland.

One of the club’s key figures in the pack, second row Liam Regardsoe, will play his 150th game for the club this weekend. His rise from Hull University rugby to National One rugby last year has been an amazing journey. He has always relished the physical contest and has been a vital part of the forward battle in every game he has played.

If Liam and his colleagues can play to their full potential Hull will look to come away from Rotherham with something to show for their efforts.
