Peter Hudson-Kowalewicz missed his first game of the season on Saturday against Lymm, but he had a good excuse. Peter was on international duty for Poland in the European Championships. It’s not very often a player at this level is on international duty, but Peter was winning his sixth cap, qualifying for the country through his father. While not getting on the scoresheet, Peter helped the Pl.es to a hard-earned victory.
“It was a tough game,” Peter said.
“We played at the national stadium in Gadinya and it needed a big team effort to get the win!
“I just had an email informing me about a game against the Armed Forces and then I was added to a group chat.
“The first time I turn up to a camp it was weird but exiting and now I’m exited for every opportunity I get.
“I qualify through my dad’s side of the family and my grandad who was from Poland.
”We are currently building for the European Championships where we will play Romania.”
