Tomasi: We Need To Keep 15 On The Pitch Against Rosslyn Park

Hull RUFC host Rosslyn Park at Chants Ave on Saturday (2pm kickoff), still looking for their first win. In the three games played so far, the team has received six yellow cards and one red card. This league is tough enough to win with a full quota of players on the pitch for the full 80 minutes let alone playing 10 minutes or more with a man sin binned. The effect of defending with a man short takes its toll later in the game which does not help the team. Backs and skills coach Tomasi Tanumi has called for the team to be more disciplined this Saturday against Rosslyn Park who have made a perfect start to the season.

“The season so far has been an eye opener,” Tanumi said.
“We have too learn very quickly because at this level they’ll make you paid for it like last Saturday at Rams.
“We are still fighting till the end and picking up on bonus point.
“That’s been the togetherness of this squad and the never say die attitude.
“Moving forward to this weekend, we need to be disciplined in what we’re doing.
“Having 15 players on the pitch will help in putting some pressure on travelling side Rosslyn coming up this Saturday at Ferrens ground.”
