Liam: There Are Plenty Of Reasons To Be Optimistic

Hull RUFC welcome Rosslyn Park to Chants Ave for the first time ever as their National 1 adventure continues. A 57-24 loss at Rams in Reading on Saturday was a disappointing result, but once again showed that the team can compete at this level. A second successive bonus point was secured late on and in each of the three games played, Hull have been in front on the scoreboard. Second row forward Liam Regardsoe admits the start of the season has been mixed, and that good times are not too far away.

“There’s been mixed feelings so far,” Regardsoe said.
“There has been nerves and excitement coming into the season, new experience for the majority of the team.
“The results have been disappointing, but if the last three games are anything to go by, we should be optimistic.
“We aren’t a million miles off.
“We have shown we can score and compete.
“We just need to cut out the silly errors and improve our discipline.
“I’m confident once we get the first win on the board, everything will start to click.”
