Home Opener To Darlington MP Goes Ahead

Hull take on Darlington this Saturday and will be looking to open their account after losing their first game in this league last week.

If the game goes ahead, Hull will be without their captain and second row man Cameron Curry, but it seems that he will be the only player unavailable. The pack will need some realignment, but the back division will have a full compliment to chose from.

Hull’s players will know better than anybody that they will need to keep their discipline and keep 15 players on the field at all times against Darlington. Their performance at set pieces last week at Bishop’s Stortford would surely have given Hull something from the game if they had finished with a full quota of players on the pitch.

Their opponents this week had a good victory at home last week against Chinnor and they will be all the more confident for that. However Hull showed their tenacity and try scoring ability last week and they will look their strengths to get a result this weekend.

If Hull’s scrummage can perform as it did last week and they can maintain focus for 80 minutes, they can get their season up and running at home this weekend.
