Keane Naylor is a rarity in sport. He loves pre-season and anyone who has been down at any of the training sessions so far this summer, will see how much the winger enjoys it. Therefore, he has been relishing the fitness challenges put to the team by conditioner Cal Donohoe. After their title winning season, the winger is keen to get back to playing in the proper games with points up for grabs.
“Pre-season is going well,” Naylor said.
“The boys were excited to get back to it, after the way we finished last season, who wouldn’t be.
“I’m one of those that loves pre season, even the horrible fitness.
“So it’s great to be back, working hard together, welcoming new faces and seeing where the challenge of promotion pushes us.
“Against Pocklington, there were lots of positives and as expected plenty of work ons.
“In the next couple of weeks, we will continue to work hard and hopefully we can hit the ground running going into National League 1.”
