Hull RUFC have finalised their plans for their pre-season friendlies this summer. Ahead of their biggest season ever, and their first in the National League 1, the club will play three pre-season games.
As per normal, the team will line up against three teams, two away from home and one at Chants Ave.
First up, is a trip to Pocklington on Saturday, August 6 before travelling to Macclesfield a week later on August 13. If you’re unable to get to with Pocklington or Macclesfield, then the third and final friendly is a chance to see how this season’s squad is shaping up.
Welsh side Llangennech of the WRU Admiral League, will make their way up to East Yorkshire on Saturday, August 20 to end our pre-season friendlies.
After that, director of rugby Gary Pearce will have a fortnight to come up with a game plan to face Bishops Stortford in their season opener on Saturday, September 3 in Hertfordshire.
PRE-SEASON FRIENDLIES:
August 6 (a) Pocklington (2pm)
August 13 (a) Macclesfield (2pm)
August 20 (h) Llangennech (3pm)
