National 2 North champions Hull travel to Leominster on Saturday for their final game of the season.
The celebrations may go on for a while yet but come kick off time this week Hull will face serious opponents who have run Rotherham and Sedgley Park very close on their own ground. Luctonians have improved as the season has progressed from a side in the bottom three to a team sitting comfortably in mid table.
Hull will take this game as seriously as they do every game knowing that the home side would like nothing better than a win against the league’s winners to end their season.
Hull will be without proper Charlie Beech who has had such a good season but can bring in the very experienced Mike Dias to bolster the front row options.
Head coach Gary Pearce reported that all other players were fit and that there will be a full squad to select from.
The.season’s run in has been tough but exhilarating for Hull with very late scores sealing victories in four out of the last five games which is a tribute to the sides fitness and team spirit.
The pack has played as a well knit unit making the hard yards all year and with a back division with vision and pace Hull have the ability to round of their season with a victory but they will need to focus and keep their intensity until the last minute to beat a very awkward side in Luctonians
