Cam Curry will join Hull RUFC’s 100-Club tomorrow when he plays against Fylde in the National 2 North. Not only will he be a crucial part of the pack hoping to win the forward battle, but he will also have the privilege of leading the team out at Woodlands Memorial Ground. Now, in his seventh season at Chants Ave, Curry has made a lifetime of special memories, and with the team 14 points clear at the top of the table, more magic moments could be on the way.
“It’s a huge privilege to pull on the Hull RUFC shirt for the 100th time on Saturday,” Curry said.
“Since signing for the club in 2015 and propping up National 3 North we’ve been on a real upward trajectory.
“Promotion into to National 2 North was special in 2019 and we’ve only strengthened and developed as a team since then.
“I couldn’t be more proud of this group of players for what we’ve achieved thus far, and I have every belief that we can continue our unbeaten run to take the league this year.
“A win on Saturday would put us in the best possible position to secure the league title in a week’s time at home against our local rivals.
“Of course we know Fylde be fired up to knock the wind out of our sails, but we have proven our heart and mettle all season to take key games when they’ve mattered.
“I’ve created countless unforgettable memories over the last seven years with this club but the best are yet to come!”
