Latu: The Job Is Not Done

After beating Rotherham and Sedgley Park in back-to-back home games, it would be easy for Hull RUFC to think the job of winning the National 2 North title was done. But that is not the case and the team travel to Bournville knowing they face another tough challenge in the Midlands. Latu Makaafi admits, there is still plenty of work to do if they are to achieve their goals for the season.

“The job is not done yet,” Makaafi said.
“Last weekend was a massive win for the boys and for everyone at the club.
“The boys work so hard. We have a six-point lead.
“We are in the habit of winning games, which is a great habit to have.
“We have belief in each other is really good. The heart is there for all to see.
“When you have that, you can beat anyone in front of you.
“It’s been a tough few weeks for us with Rotherham and Sedgley Park which were games we had to win.
“There have been no easy games especially when you go away to teams and Bournville will be tough.”
