There’s nothing better than winning a game of rugby, but to do so and not let your opponent score a point makes it an even better result. After beating Sheffield Tigers 29-0 last Saturday at Chants Ave, Tom O’Donnell was delighted with the way his side defended their line for the entire 80 minutes. Keeping their discipline helped and the forward hopes they can put in another solid defensive shift against Chester this Saturday at Chants Ave.
“We were a lot more disciplined than we were against Stourbridge the weekend before,” O’Donnell said.
“It was brilliant to nil them also.
“We’ve had a tough couple of games to start the league and this performance shows what we can do.
“This weekend is another home game and we are good at home.
“Our defence was incredible against Sheffield Tigers and we just need to work on the attack a bit more.
“We can defend all day and nobody can get through us.
“We’re delighted to have two wins from our first three games.”
