1st Team, Home

Favourite moment of the season: Richard Gore

There have been so many great moments and every player has had occasions they will recall in years from now.
The return to playing the game by scrum-half Mike Goodwin might have taken my vote but one game and  a remarkable team effort just edges that great day.
The win at Stourbridge back in September was particularly significant because it showed that we were a real force in National Two North.
Stourbridge are a well run club with ambitions to play at the next level and they would have set their stall out to record a win against us.
We fell behind initially, but a totally committed team performance saw us pressurise the home side particularly in the second half to come out 19-14 winners.
A result that announced to every side in the league that we had arrived.
