Following the RFU’s decision to suspend all rugby from professional to community level because of the threat of the Coronavirus, a number of social events organised by the club have now been cancelled.
Our President’s Lunch, scheduled for Sunday, April 5 at our home ground at Chanterlands Avenue, has had to be cancelled because of the threat of the Coronavirus.
On April 25, we were due to celebrate our Ex-Players with a day of celebration at Chants Ave, but unfortunately, this too has had to be cancelled.
At this moment in time, we are still waiting to find out whether the May Dance, scheduled for May 9 at the KCOM Stadium, can go ahead.
Again, we are waiting to hear if our annual golf day at Brough Golf Club on June 5 can go ahead.
As soon as we know anything more, we will of course let you know so keep checking the website.
In the meantime, please stay safe and follow the guidelines – avoid social activities, only travel if you need to and wash your hands with soap and water often – and do this for at least 20 seconds each time.
