1st Team, Home

Dias said – because said is Dias backwards

As we enter the final quarter of the season prop Mike Dias tells us how he and the rest of the squad are approaching the last seven games.
We only have seven games to play in the league and hopefully another two cup ties in the Yorkshire Cup.
We have set ourselves a target to honestly go game-by-game and try and finish the season as high as possible.
Starting with Otley this week, which we know will bring a physical battle upfront. They enjoy mauling and are decent at it, so our penalty count has to be better and not to give them those chances.
On the other hand, we know we can match any pack in the league and cause them some problems ourselves so we will focus on getting that right and enjoying the challenge.
Otley have to win and will come at us hard which should make for a good game. If we can get a win here, we really can start to look up the table.
Our aim has always been to finish as high a possible in the league and I think it has just taken us slightly longer than planned to adapt.
We have a full squad at the moment and competition for places is good which brings out a good atmosphere at training.
We are in a good place but also aware that only takes one loss and the mood can change.
Please get down and support us this weekend and remember…
Rugby is the winner!
