Mike Jobling expects another tough game when Hull travel to Preston Grasshoppers on Saturday.
Buoyed by wining back-to-back games at home to Scunthorpe on Saturday for the second time this season, Hull know they are capable of beating anyone on their day.
And with the help of the new signings at Chants Ave this season, Jobling expects a few more wins to come their way.
“Going to Lightfoot Green is a familiar place for us and one that always produces an exciting match with plenty of physicality,” Jobling said
“We have been working hard to maximise the opportunities in our counter attack and we are also controlling where we play our rugby by making sure we keep the possession down in the oppositions half.
“The key to getting the win on Saturday will be to stick to our processes and make sure we have the same energy and enthusiasm we have been bringing.
“If we focus on how we know we want to play and apply it, I’m sure we will come away with the result we want.
“The new boys have really made a positive impact on the club particularly leaders like Latu Makaafi.
”His knowledge under pressure has been vital.
“Charlie Beech brings further knowledge upfront and a particular mention to Lawrence Cowen who’s turnovers have been the unsung heroics of a few victories this season.
