Mike Jobling believes Hull RUFC can cause a shock this weekend by beating Caldy, just like they did when they faced Stourbridge a few weeks ago.
Jobling admits he and the rest of the players were disappointed by last week’s 14-5 loss at Chester and feels the team can get get to winning ways at Chants Ave on Saturday.

He wants the forwards to be as aggressive as they have been in recent weeks and hopes the backs take any opportunities that come their way.
“Going into this week against the league leaders Caldy will be a real test of our sustainability within this league as they are recently relegated from National League 1,” Jobling said.
“Especially on the back of last week’s close game where we showed great energy and enthusiasm throughout.
“If we can bring that same enthusiasm into this weekend’s game and with the backing of our home fans I think we could produce something special.

“We were gutted with the loss against Hinckley in our last home game and we have been rebuilding to get back to that winning way by focusing on our strengths as a group and to capitalise on areas of weakness that the opposition has.
“I believe the key to us coming away with the result we want from the weekend is for the forwards to bring the same mentality that we had against Chester last weekend and for the backs just to be clinical in the chances we get.
“Hopefully Simon Humberstone is fit to give us the direction and field position we need to apply pressure.”
