Liam Regardsoe believes Hull deserve to be in the top six of the table after their first three games and he feels they can stay there’s for the remainder of the season. The forward played a major role in helping his side beat National Two North’s early pacesetters Stourbridge on their home ground last weekend.
“Obviously, I’m incredibly impressed with the boys start to the season, but in some ways not overly surprised because it is testament to the hard work put in by the boys and the coaches from last season up until now.
“I feel that after the game against Huddersfield we know that we aren’t just passengers in this league we are here to challenge for minimum top six as was the goal before the season started.
“I thought the boys put an incredible performance in against a very strong side in Sturbridge. It was heavily contested for the majority of the game but in the end our fitness told, we were able to get the win by playing for 80 minutes, our intensity didn’t drop and stourbridge were out on their feet at the final whistle. I am looking forward to seeing what the next match has to offer.”
