Ross Osborne is looking forward to making his debut for Hull after making the switch from league to union.
Osborne, who has played Super League rugby for Hull FC, believes he can make the adjustment to the 15-man code quickly and could make his debut against Tynedale on Saturday.
“I’m really looking forward to playing for Hull and learning how to play rugby union,” said Osborne.
“I’ve come and watched them a couple of times over the past two years and I just thought why not give it go I’ve got nothing to lose.
“Hopefully I will pick the game up pretty quick and push towards playing week in week out.
“I don’t think there is any reason why we can’t achieve our goals for this season especially with the good playing squad we have.
“We are all looking forward to our first home game of the season and we will be looking to make sure we get a win and hopefully make our home ground a fortress.
“No one likes to get beat at home.”
