How would you like to spend the evening with England head coach Eddie Jones?
Well, you can as we can reveal the Australian as our guest speaker for our next Sportsman’s Dinner to be held at Willerby Manor Hotel on January 17.
It’s the latest in a long list of distinguished guests which includes England’s World Cup winner Will Greenwood who graced us with his presence earlier this year.
Right now, Jones is preparing England for this autumn’s World Cup in Japan with whom he coached to a stunning win over South Africa that was the shock of the tournament.
The 59-year-old initially signed a four-year contract in 2015, but extended his stay for a further two years when agreeing to stay on as England head coach until 2021.
Jones’ appearance in Hull will come just a fortnight before he leads England into the Six Nations tournament where a trip to France awaits his squad on February 2.
It will be an honour for our club to welcome what we hope will the head coach of the World Champions next January, and hopefully he’ll bring his friend Webb Ellis with him!
Tables are selling quick so contact Chris Murphy on 01482 899114 to avoid disappointment.
The Sportsman’s Dinner remains one of the social events on the events calendar in the city, along with the May Ball.
This year, the May Ball gave way to our Promotion Party as we celebrated our return to National Two North.
Next year, the club will host it’s Dinner Dance on May 9 at the KCOM Stadium.
As well as these major events, please keep checking the club’s website for details on the President’s Lunch.
If you would like to be a part of our successful club, we would love to see you attend our pre-match lunches that take place before every home game throughout the season. For more details, please contact David Piercy on 07801 218810 or John Beal on 01482 899114.
And if you want to sponsor one of our home games, then please contact John Beal on 01482 899114.
See you at the start of the new season!
