Hull take on Billingham this week in a top of the table encounter that sees Hull as leaders take on second place Billingham.Both sides ae having very good seasons and Billingham have lost just two games and last week overwhelmed a a useful Alnwick side running up fifty points in the process.
Hull have lost just one game and look to complete a series of three games against top five opposition with a win that would see them with a little bit of room between themselves and the rest of the league.
Hull wil have winger Stephen hihetah and centre Ali Heard back in contention whilst prop Mike Jobling returns from suspension. Scrum half Harvey Harding is available and comes into the mix ad will probably start the game .
Back row man Rupert Kay and prop Dom Hardman are injured but despite their loss gary Pearce, Hull’s head coach , fees his side will strong, determined and battle hardened by recent tough fixtures.
Not that he is overconfident as he views Billingham’s achievements this season with respect which will be translated to the players .
Nevertheless Hull have proved themselves worthy opponents for any in this league and they can hold their heads high going into what is in reality a six point fixture.
Hull have try scorers in all parts of the team and two good goal kickers in their armoury but discipline will need to be good as giving ground or easy shots at goal has undone many a good side.
A win for Hull is very possible on home soil but this is a game and a test that their players will relish as they seek to establish their credentials as league leaders going into the last game before Christmas next week at Wirrral.
