The club is very sorry to hear the news of the deaths of Richard Lewis and Tony Cook – two life-long members of our club.
Richard was a past Chairman and President and a life member of Hull RUFC and played for the old Hull and East Riding in his early days.
Tony was also a life member and also a member of Driffield. He played for them in his early days. He last played for Hornsea at the age of 46.
A minute’s silence will be observed before tomorrow’s league game with Kirkby Lonsdale at Chants Ave.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of Richard and Tony at this time.
